It was such a gorgeous day today that I had to ditch the tablescapes and play with my little guy outside. We had fun and there is always tomorrow. I did manage to start on the kiddie table and came up with these cute place cards for our little guests.
The template was then traced onto a piece of felt and cut out.
I tried using fabric for the center of the ears but it was just a bit too heavy and made the ears floppy {not that there is anything wrong with floppy bunny ears}. Since I didn’t want to spend time stiffening the felt or using backing, I decided to paint the centers using creamy peach acrylic paint.
Once dry they were wrapped around some plastic eggs and hot glued the ends together. The eggs were your basic inexpensive plastic eggs that I painted with acrylic to coordinate with the tablescape colors. The eggs were filled with after dinner treats and surprises for our little guests.
Wow! These are just so cute! And so simple to make. Thank you!
Cute and fast! Great idea!!!

Those are so cute….you are so crafty, I’m so inspired by your blog!! : )
Great idea! There are no young ones around my Easter table anymore but I think I’ll make them for all of the adults.
Happy Easter
