The Kiddie Table is Set

I have so much fun putting together the kiddie tables for each holiday. I’m usually a natural neutral person but love to use color and whimsy for our little guests. This Easter three of our little friends won’t be able to join us so we are left with only four. They always enjoy seeing what theme and surprises await them in their own little space.

I used a lot of mixed pastels and a bunny theme this year.

The place cards are made from felt and were super easy to make. {I posted the tutorial yesterday ~ You can find it here}

The plates and utensils are all plastic and kid friendly. I was thrilled when I was able to find utensils that looked just like real silverware! Using plastic equals not having to worry about what’s happening at this usually crazy fun table.

The basket weave pots hold little treats which I am sure will be disassembled before dinner is served.

I normally don’t use pastels in my decorating however they are just so pretty for spring!

The placemats are actually large dinner napkins that I folded in half. The embroidered bunnies are too cute!

Scrap coordinating fabric pieces cut with pinking shears were tied to the basket weave pots to add some additional color.

Flameless candles even allow our little guests to dine by candlelight without worry.

The centerpiece was put together using coordinated fabric wrapped eggs. {These are another super easy project ~ tutorial found here} I’ll post more on the tree later today.

I hope our little guest have as much fun here as I had putting this together. Enjoy!
