What a great idea. I love it. I don’t plan what is going to happen each night. I just make up my mind from what I have on hand and how long it will take. Just a little scattered I guess. Hugs, Marty
What a fun idea! Can’t wait to see the other wall art ideas. I love to use pretty photos from magazines for my kitchen – photos of tomatoes and herbs and flowers. They’re cheap and fast to change out – can be changed with the seasons.
Stephanie Lynn,
This is seriously cute! Thanks for providing the print out of the letters. I think I’m going to try this!
Nancy
great idea! I think I’m going to try this.
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I will be trying this soon. And, of course, the burlap just seals it for me. Great job!
Very clever 🙂
Blessings!
Gail
This project is awesome! Putting it on my to-do-list. Thanks for sharing.

This would be perfect for a little gift for a friend. Thanks for the idea!
I don’t plan menus but this could be for anything. To Dos for the week, chore schedule etc. It is so pretty as is everything you make.
Oh man I ♥ this! so cool!
Fun project Stephanie Lynn! I think I would need a bigger frame…my handwriting is huge!! 🙂
Excellent idea, awesome execution. The burlap with the velvety black letters looks great. Very cute and clever!
Soooo very cool! LOVE the idea of using a frame with the glass! And I sure like all the elements you’ve chosen for yours.
Thanks for linking this up to SNS!

OH this is perfect. Love the burlap and the letters you used. And with a 14 year old son who is Always Hungry (I think he might have a tapeworm) it would be great to have a place where he can check out what’s on the menu for dinner. And stop asking me. 🙂 Thanks!!
I ABSOLUTELY love this! Thanks for the printables! I think I’m gonna have to make that, like this weekend!
I love this – what a great idea. I’m definitely going to make one of these x
So cool! I don’t do the menu thing (would ruin the element of surprise for the boys – lol) but I think this would work perfect for a “Looks who’s been good this week” board to encourage more good behavior around here…. Hmmm really has me thinking. Thanks for sharing!
LOVE this! i always plan my menu out for the week and always buy those weekly notepads. i got my sister doing the same thing- this will be the PERFECT gift to make for her for her birthday next week!
Great Idea!

VERY Cool! And if I prepared meals every day, I would definitely make one of these *smiles*
This is a great idea. I wish I was that organized to plan a menu but it would be altered to use it for other things. Even just weekly reminders, which I really could use!

That is super cute! We do a meal planning too but it is nice to have the week’s view. The kids are ALWAYS asking “what’s for dinner”. I’ll have to give this a try. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

I just found your blog and I am in love! I will be coming back often. I have been wanting to make a menu board but haven’t been able to find the one and I just found it. I have a dumb question, what kind of paint do you use to redo your frame? tamaradotabeatgmaildotcom
Loving your blog, and this tute! If you hop around too, I’d love to have you come by my Make & Share craft hop at HOMEmomMADE.
Hi Stephanie!
I made a menu board very similar to this back in March and love how useful it’s been! (http://supersavingsblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/before-and-after-menu-board-from.html)
I’ve been trying to decide if I should label it with “Menu” and days of the week, and I really like how you did it – I may have to tweak mine now! =)
I’m new to your blog and am *loving* your projects, having fun browsing around!

This is so cute. I really like this idea and like you, I plan meals for at least 2 weeks to a month, but would be nice to have the week menu visible for the family to see.
Such a great idea! Now that I have a teenager at home, she could see what we have planned and pull out the recipe to get started on peeling, chopping, whatever when she gets home from school. I love it!
