A Quick Powder Room Sign with A Whimsical Message

Having an upcoming party is one sure way to finish all your half done projects. Here is a quick and simple frame with an important =) whimsical message for all our powder room guests!

I began with a small 2X3 frame which I already had. I gave it a quick coat of satin nickel spray paint and cut a piece of fabric to fit the picture opening. The fabric was my inspiration for re-decorating our powder room and I always like to try and find a few coordinating accessories to match. Though like many, my decorating style and taste are always ever changing so I try to re-purpose as many items as I can. {Inexpensive accessorizing - got to love it}

In Microsoft Word, I found a script font that I liked and printed out the words 'wash hands' on plain white paper. {I would have been nice and added 'Please' but there wasn't enough room} Centering the glass insert on top of the paper I traced the font with a sharpie marker. {the sharpie simply wipes off the glass with a little spritz of cleaner if you make a mistake or later want to reuse the frame}

Replace the glass into your frame and you have a cute little piece of inexpensive art that matches the rest of your decor.

The Ruffled Wall Art is another inexpensive piece that I made for the room out of crêpe party streamers. You can find the easy tutorial {here} and the Flower Embellishment tutorial {here}.

I've been doing a lot of miscellaneous projects the past few days trying to piece things together, so excuse the randomness =) I should be back on track next week. Enjoy!

The glass on top of the paper is COMPLETELY GENIUS! I'm entirely sure I will rip that off at some point in the future. So may I just thank you, in advance, and promise that if I ever post a project using that idea....I'll credit your brilliance? Gray and yellow are awesome, by the way.

This is such a sweet idea. I've been redoing the downstairs bath and something like this would just be adorable in there.
