Faux Mistletoe Ornament {No.17}

Faux Mistletoe Ornament
{Ornament Number Seventeen}
Materials Needed:
Faux Greenery
Cardstock
Floral Wire
Ribbon
Glitter

Take apart a few pieces of faux greenery keeping as much as you can on the original stem. {it can simply be any you may have laying around}

Using floral wire, bunch together.

Cut a separate piece of wire, loop and twist onto the original stem to create the hanger.

Tie a piece of ribbon at the top to conceal the twisted wire.

Using a small scrapbooking punch cut out several shapes from cardstock. I used a heart punch that I had on hand; though any shape would work {you could even cut shapes by hand}

Hot glue the paper randomly to your greenery.

Add a few drops of glue to your paper and sprinkle with glitter. I used Gorilla Super Glue as it is very easy to control the precision of placement with the applicator. {plus it makes the glitter adhere wonderfully} The China Red glitter is from PK Glitz and the color is simply gorgeous.

I know mistletoe has white berries and mine looks more like holly with the red... I'm just loving the pop of red against the green.

All of the ornament tutorials featured are very basic and allow you to create them to your own personal taste and style ~ be creative and have fun! Enjoy!
