Rag Fabric Flower Ornament
{Ornament Number Five}
Materials Needed:
Styrofoam Ball
Scrap Fabric
Ribbon


Begin by cutting a styrofoam ball in half with a serrated knife. {I used a three inch diameter ball}
Cut several 1 inch wide strips of scrap fabric and then cut again into 1 inch squares. {They do not have to be perfectly cut}. I used Unbleached Natural Osnaburg fabric I had on hand.


Working in small sections, squirt some white glue onto the styrofoam ball. Using the sharp end of a wooden skewer, poke the center of the fabric square into the styrofoam. Work your way around until the entire surface is covered, placing the squares fairly close to one another.


Hot Glue a piece of ribbon to the back for the hanger.
