DIY Under Cabinet Lazy Susan {Rotating Organizer Stand}

DIY Under Cabinet Lazy Susan {Rotating Organizer Stand}

Like many, I find the storage space I do have quickly fills up; no matter how much I seem to have, I always seem to never have enough. In an effort to maximize the storage space underneath my little guys bath vanity, I put together this simple lazy susan using just a couple purchased supplies and few items around the house. I love the fact that the double tier fills the open space in the tall base cabinets which is usually left unused. The finished project actually turned out cuter than expected and can be used for a multitude of purposes {such Continue reading

Pottery Barn Inspired Fall Leaf Hurricane Centerpiece

Pottery Barn Inspired Fall Leaf Hurricane Centerpiece

Pottery Barn always does an incredible job of creating spectacular centerpiece displays; usually by combining random assortments of natural, rustic elements. It seems all you pretty much need is a clear glass vessel of any shape and size, toss in a few fillers, and you too can have an instant centerpiece ready for virtually any season. I was inspired originally by last years November catalog and collaborated a few ideas together to create my own fall centerpiece. They have also brought some of the same ideas back again this year; you can Continue reading

Mod Podge Custom Faux Pumpkins {Easy Fall Decor}

Mod Podge Custom Faux Pumpkins {Easy Fall Decor}

I have wanted to make a set of pumpkins that 'spelled out' a phrase for awhile. The thought of painting individual letters, or handwriting them, is not really one of my specialties; however, with a little scrapbook paper and some Mod Podge, customizing little faux pumpkins to your liking is a cinch! I could only find bright orange {really faux looking} pumpkins in the size that I wanted, but a combination of white and antique white spray paint fixed that. The stems were simply hand painted with Americana Acrylic in traditional burnt umber by Continue reading
