Heather from Whipperberry

Paper Fan Flower & Glitter Bottle
{Handmade Ornament No. 5}
Welcome…Heather!

Hello all, this is Heather from WhipperBerry!
We were soooo excited when Stephanie Lynn asked us to be a part of her handmade ornament week. The problem for us…picking just one. We decided to offer two super simple ornaments that would be lovely on a tree, as décor or a beautiful gift for friends and neighbors.

You will need’
-
One sheet of 12×12 scrapbook paper. I would use a rather light weight paper for this project.
-
Paper cutter and scissors.
-
A glue gun

-
A small glass bottle {I found mine at the local craft store for less that $1.00.}
-
Masking tape
-
Spay adhesive
-
Glitter
-
Ribbon

Quick, easy, simple and elegant!

Thank you Heather! The paper fan flower is gorgeous and I can see it being customize to fit any theme or color scheme anyone may have for this upcoming season. The added button embellishment adds the perfect little touch too! I love the simplicity of the glitter jar and can only imagine the statement multiples would make embellishing a tree with some twinkle lights – very pretty!I’ll be back in a few hours with our next guest blogger along with ornament no. 6; Meanwhile stop by Whipperberryand say ‘hi’ to Heather if you get a chance!

Whipperberry is the collaboration of seven talented friends covering topics including fabulous craft tutorials, amazing party tables, and a few of my favorite ‘whipperdishes’ that are truly made to impress; like these Petite Éclairs in a Jar {found here}…

…or these Mini Lemon Curd Cheesecakes {found here}…simply gorgeous and delish!
There is still much more to come however, if you’ve missed any of the previous ornaments – You can view the entire series by clicking the button above ~ Enjoy!
Thank you for the detailed instructions on the paper fan. I completely understood the technical term “smoosh”.
That fan is lovely! I may have to make a few of them to decorate Christmas presents 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
WOW! These are so chic. Beautiful too.

I looooove the fan ornament!!
These are so creative and original…and gorgeous, too! I especially adore that little fan ornament and the colors you chose for it! 🙂
I made a couple of these out of wrapping paper and they turned out really well, its also a nice way to use up those scrap pieces that can’t really be used to wrap anything.
