The Sunday Showcase Party w/ Suckers by Steph Autism Awareness Giveaway {No. 48}

Welcome to The Sunday Showcase Party
UndertheTableandDreaming

I’m delighted to introduce this weeks sponsor
Suckers by Steph

Suckers by Steph is an adorable Etsy shop that is filled with beautiful handmade bouquets of decadent chocolate suckers and lollipops for any occasion. ‘Steph’ is single female ๐Ÿ™‚ that started making lollipops after she saw them at a local craft show.

She fell in love with them and wanted to make them for her family as Christmas presents. Once she started a friend suggested they do a craft show together and to prepare for the craft show she wanted to hand out a business card with a place to find her which is what led her to Etsy.

It has been a fun crazy ride! Steph has stayed busy and after her normal 40 hour a week gig; she stays up to wee hours making lollipops!

Just in time for the upcoming holiday, Steph’s shop is stocked with an adorable array of designs perfect to tuck in any basket.

She also carries personalized designs and is open to custom orders as well.

One of the cutest designs, the ‘Hoot Owl’ was recently featured on Etsy’s Sticks and Stones. How cute are these…I just had to share them with you all here as well!

All sucker and lollipops are made fresh once orders are placed and are individually packaged in cello bags with curled ribbon. All chocolates are customizable in a variety of colors and flavor options.

You can check out all the designs in Steph’s shop, Suckers by Steph, {here} and follow along on facebook {here}

For this weekโ€™s giveaway, Steph has so graciously offered to give
one lucky reader
A Set of 12 Puzzle Piece Lollipops
in honor of
Autism Awareness Month

Autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States affecting one in every 110 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown and a cure does not exist. Research is crucial. Every 20 minutes another child is diagnosed with autism. Not only must we find ways to improve the quality of life for children and adults with autism, but we also must find a cure, and soon.

For additional information, including a list of red flags for autism and developmental milestones by age, you can visit Autism Speaks {here}
I am very grateful for people like Steph who are helping to spread awareness on this cause that is so very near and dear to my heart. Through out this month, National Autism Awareness Month, Iโ€™ll be dedicating some posts myself to raise public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; including my dear son CJ.

  44. Steph,
    Your suckers are AMAZING. I know it’s tough being a single parent working a 40 hour job and trying to find other ways to make extra money. I applaud your hard work and creativity!!!!

  45. Hi Steph! You always have such awesome spotlights! This one doesn’t disappoint, the suckers are adorable! Love the cupcake ones!

  46. Oh, forgot to mention I linked up Coconut Cream Easter Eggs, thanks for hosting!

  47. You have a wonderful blog and I always enjoy it. I have a grandson who is Autistic. We have been blessed to have fantastic therapists that have worked with him for 3 years. His ABA therapy is ending next week…and though he has lots of hard work to do for the rest of his life, these therapist saved him from a non-verbal life with little communication. I will be posting about Autism and his courageous therapists this week on my own blog. Only through awareness will we be able to have people recognize the epidemic that is going on in our country. It is going to be a hard challenge in the years to come as the numbers of our children increase with Autism. Keep up the good work! Pam N.

  48. Those suckers look too good to eat! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Those suckers are to die for. (and making my tummy rumble). Unfortunately, I have a few friends with children who have Autism, (unfortunate,not that they are my friends, but for the disease itself). My own daughter has a few rare disorders. Albrights Hereditary Osteodystrophy being the main one. I would love to be able to pass these out to my sweet friends to let them know i am thinkin of them.
    Thanks for showcasing them! I may have to get some even if I don’t win.
    Hugs, Kim from tiarasandbowties.blogspot.com

  51. HI Stephanie Lynn, it’s Kim from Tiaras again. I stopped by Etsy to see the wonderful assortment of suckers being offered. My fav’s would have to be the baseball suckers for my son’s little league and I’d have to order a custom set for my daughter. She will be graduating from 8th grade this June and onto the highschool. (scares me to death) It really is a big deal for us! She’s had lots of medical complications, setbacks, and sorrow since birth and HOLY are we proud of her!

  52. Those suckers are gorgeous! Beautiful!

  53. Love these suckers. What a great way to say I love you.

  54. I have wanted to make something like this for a long time. So cute!
