Melanie is a WAHM and mother of 5, 1 of whom is Autistic as you may know. She is a wife to her hero, a U.S. Marine, who returned in 2009 from Iraq and is now now back to civilian life.


Her husband calls her The Junk Collector because she has a love for all things old and junky - though she will tell you she just enjoys giving things new life and purpose.


This Real New Jersey housewife loves all things vintage, thrifty, handmade and jewelicious! Melanie spends her spare time running two Etsy shops... as well as two blogs.


Melanie is currently working on expanding her jewelry line, Mama J Jewels.


One of my favorites is this fun new bracelet from Melanie's Nautical/Seaside collection. This piece is made from up-cycled Italian linen cloths - how cool is that!


Melanie's other Etsy shop Lucky7Design, is a combination of home items and vintage finds.The handmade items are made from natural materials as Melanie uses vintage linens and fabrics to create her pieces. Some items are also recycled transformations creatively made from old pieces.


The eclectic mixed of found items are from Melanie's personal collections as well as estate sales, antique shops and flea markets. You never know what unique special find you may see!
