Paint Color Cheat Sheets Giveaway

Did you know that over 40% of all paint purchases are made
as a result of an original color mistake? Some of us know the colors we desire to have in our homes however, quickly realize once we start looking at paint chips, that the color we chose comes in several different shades, multiple hues, and tones.

While paint manufacturers keep coming up with new colors and expanding their already extensive palettes, Paint Color Cheat Sheets helps homeowners narrow down paint color selections to a bare minimum.

Yelena Kublitski is the editor for House Painting Tutorials, where she teaches homeowners how to choose paint colors and decorate their homes with paint. She and her husband own a full-service house painting company, and right from the start they noticed that the most stressful and frustrating part of a painting project for most homeowners was having to choose paint colors.

A year or so into doing paint color consultations for her clients, Yelena, like most color consultants and interior decorators, continually used only 20 percent of the colors in a paint deck, 80 percent of the time. She complied these colors in a special “go-to” color file, which consists of a small number of proven, tried and tested paint colors they refer to again and again in their work.

Yelena says, “it’s not necessary to have a large variety of colors in order to find the right one,” “All that is needed is just a few excellent options that work all the time.”

While other industry experts keep their “go-to” color files private, Yelena created Paint Color Cheat Sheets as a resource for homeowners that want a beautiful, tasteful home, but can’t afford to hire a color consultant.

Paint Color Cheat Sheets contains shortcuts to the best, timeless, most popular Sherwin Williams paint colors that Yelena has personally proven, tried and tested in real life.

Yelena has taken the guess work out of wading through hundreds or thousands of paint colors in order to find the right one.

Paint Color Cheat Sheets is available as an Ebook or hardcopy and includes 81 timeless and tasteful Sherwin Williams Colors. The book lists the exact Sherwin Williams paint color names and codes for the best pastels, brights, earthy tones and jewel shades in every color family: 10 best Red, 7 best Orange, 8 best Yellow, 10 best Green, 10 best Blue, 7 best Purple, 8 best Brown, 7 best Beige, 8 best Gray, and 6 best White Paint Colors.

All of the paint colors included can be purchased directly from Sherwin Williams, or any other professional paint store can match them for you, free of charge.

Clear and concise descriptions of each color is included as well as recommendations for complementing colors so you can mix, match and coordinate your decor with confidence. Each color also includes the LRV {Light Reflectance Value} and details which lighting conditions each of the colors needs to look its best.

The book also includes printable color charts, tips and tricks of the trade, quick and easy fixes, and additional free resources for decorating with paint.

Three bonus Cheat Sheets come along with the book as well detailing color choices for Kids Rooms, Nurseries, and Front Doors.

You will also learn industry insider tips and tricks on how to sample colors for free without even leaving your home and how to save on all the paints, primers and tools you buy.
