Deeds & Petunia is an Etsy shop specializing in gorgeous vintage style birdcage veils, fascinators, and other accessories.


All of the Deeds & Petunia pieces are hand crafted with care and exquisite details and many pieces included unique vintage findings. The fascinators with vintage jewel centers are my absolute favorite – aren’t they simply beautiful!


Sarah Beth Smith is the owner of Deeds & Petunia as well as the designer behind these fabulous wares. She is a wife and mom of two beautiful girls {and three rascally cats}. She loves to sew, loves vintage and really loves to sew with vintage materials and patterns!


Sarah works from her Tacoma, WA home, in her little sunlit sewing room. With her cat Linus typically in her lap, Sarah hand makes vintage style veils, fascinators, accessories and upcycled clothing.


Sarah loves the romance of vintage and is very inspired by the style and the beautiful women who wear it so well. Bits of vintage glamor shine in every piece she makes.


Sarah has a Ball jar addiction, can frequently be seen at local Estate Sales and collects vintage hats. She says – “I am not terribly fancy – most days are spent in my sneakers and worn out jeans, but I love to wake up every morning and make fancy things.”


‘Deeds and Petunia truly feels like my calling,’ explains Sarah, ‘I feel so blessed to do what I love and be surrounded by a loving and supportive community of creative women in this area who also create.’


The Deeds & Petunia blog is Sarah’s creative outlet and it drives her to come up with new ideas and creations to post about, including DIY projects.


Deeds & Petunia is getting ready to expand and include jewelry, everyday accessories and altered vintage clothing in September – check out Sarah’s blog for details and up-to-date information.


Sarah also recently released an amazing indie/handmade/vintage online magazine called
“It’s All In The Details…” Online Magazine for a Handmade Wedding.
The e-zine highlights unique, small-scale wedding artists to promote the beauty of handmade, as well as offers DIY projects to inspire creative, budget-savvy brides.
