Willow Whimsy is an Etsy shop carrying adorable handmade items made with colorful, whimsical, quality materials!
Shirley, the talented shop owner and mom to 3 silly children (Daniel, Jillian and Audrey), works as a full time teacher at a local public high school and teaches mainly computer education. She crafts, sews and blogs several nights a week after her children go to bed.
She started her shop while out on maternity leave with her youngest because she needed a creative outlet. She is hoping someday to quit her day job and concentrate full time on her family and shop.
In the shop you will find an array of handmade textiles and other goodies all crafted by Shirley herself.

I love that she is a working mom but still finds the time to do crafts and do them well. As a mother, professional, and student myself I dream about being more serious with my projects. She is inspiring!
The washclothes are totally on my wish list! My 4 year old MUST have a washcloth in the bath- she loves it more than her bath toys. Having special washclothes just for her would be fun! And the fact that they are organic is an added bonus!
