{Handmade Christmas Ornament No. 15}

Hi friends! I’m Jamielyn from I Heart Nap Time and I’m thrilled that Stephanie has invited me to be apart of her handmade ornament event. There has been so many wonderful ideas shared.

I’ve been dreaming of making a sunburst mirror for quite some time now… but just haven’t the time to do it. When I found these cute little mirrors at Michael’s, I knew they would make the perfect little sunburst mirror ornaments for my tree. These ornaments were so easy to make, and cost less than $2.

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

The first thing I did was spray paint the popsicle sticks. I absolutely LOVE the textured metallic spray paint… but you can use whatever color.

Once the sticks were dry, I cut the sticks at angles and pieced them together with super glue. Then I threaded the ribbon through the mirror and glued that to the center of the ornament.

I thought the ornaments needed a little more sparkle, so I added rhinestones to the tip of each stick. They added the perfect sparkle to my Christmas tree!
