{Handmade Christmas Ornament No. 12}

Hey everyone!

I was really excited when Stephanie Lynn asked me to participate in the handmade ornament series.

I got to thinking about what I could make and I love to use old cardboard tubes for different projects so I pulled out my stash, played around a bit, and come up with this simple ornament for all of you.

Cardboard Snowflake Ornament

Here is how you can make your own.

Supplies:
-Cardboard tubes cut into 1/2 in. strips
-White acrylic paint
-Glitter paint
Glue Gun
-Buttons

Paint the tubes white inside and out.
Let dry.

Then coat the cardboard with the glitter paint also inside and out.

Dry fit your design.
Once you got it how you would like, begin gluing the pieces together.

Add a button to the center for a little something extra.

I decided to add a glittery button on top of the first to bring the glitter to the front.
Tied some embroidery string onto it for hanging and done!

Hang it on the tree and let the lights catch the glitter.

This is a simple project but looks great on the tree!

If you would like, you could add another layer of the tubes to add more dimension to the snowflake. Just play around and make it your own!
