The Sunday Showcase Party with M.A. Hadley Pottery Giveaway {No. 83}

Welcome to The Sunday Showcase Party

~Please Note the Guidelines Below Prior to Submitting Links to This Party~

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I’m thrilled to introduce you to a special company this week – M.A. Hadley.
M.A. Hadley Pottery specializes handcrafted, hand-painted pottery made right in the US – in Louisville, KY .

The company was started by Mary Alice Hadley in the early 40’s and has grown over the the last 70 years, acquired a large fan base from across the nation – many of which are avid collectors.

Each piece is formed much like it was 60 years ago, using clay native to Kentucky and Indiana.

The decoration is hand painted directly on the unfired clay items – then the items are coated with a porcelain-like white glaze. The term ―underglaze is often associated with Hadley Pottery—meaning that the whimsical hand painted design is under the glaze, making the decoration permanent.

The pottery is then fired only one time. This single firing process produces ware with a maximum bond between the body, decoration, and the glaze.

Hadley Pottery is not only decorative and functional, it is extremely durable.
The single firing process leaves Hadley pieces sturdier than most other pottery found on the market. It’s also chip resistant, dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe.

Mary Alice Hadley’s vision of superior craftsmanship still shines through in each piece of pottery today. The charming and whimsical hand painted designs decorate each of the 45 different stoneware patterns currently available. From country scenes to nautical themes to traditional Hadley Pottery designs – they all work well as distinct collections on their own or are perfect for mixing with other stoneware patterns to match your personality and home.

Plus the Hadley Christmas and Winter Collections are perfect for the upcoming season.

Shopping the Hadley site could not be easier as you can search the site by pattern or piece. The collections feature every piece needed to create Hadley Pottery tabletop reflecting your own personal style. Table service includes all the practical sizes of plates, bowls, cups, and mugs, plus some stand-out conversation pieces such as jumbo bowls, 15” platters, or even water coolers. You will find all the table accessories there too—from basic salt and pepper sets to old style pitchers.

Make Hadley even more personal with a selection of custom and personalized hand painted treasures, along other specialty pottery items including pet food bowls, children’s pottery items, and hand painted home accents – all bringing a sense of warmth and coziness to your home.
{or passed along to others when given as gifts}

Hadley is currently running several holiday promotions and there is still time to order for Christmas delivery.
