Merry Christmas my friends! I hope by the time most of you read this, all your holiday shopping will be complete {and wrapped} – though if you forgot to check your Christmas list twice, you’re in luck as all Walgreens stores are still open.

Walgreens is wonderful. I love your last-minute shopping tips. And, a couple of years ago, I was making the green bean casserole early Christmas morning. Thinking I had a large can of the French fried onions in my pantry, I didn’t pick any up at the grocery store the day before. To my horror, I had none! My daughter called the neighborhood Walgreens and they had them! Always was a Walgreens fan. Now I’m a die-hard!

I had to visit Walgreen’s at the last minute. Thank goodness they were open. I DID get some girlie stocking stuffers. They had just what I needed. Merry Christmas. Hope it’s been great.
Although the closest Walgreens is in a small town about 6 miles away from us we visit it quite often. I was a Senior Companion for awhile and got to know some of the clerks pretty well when I’d take my client in almost every Wed. a.m. They are so helpful and I like to buy little bit of makeup I do wear there.

I wish I had a local Walgreen’s, but at least there is one where we celebrate for Christmas Eve, we had to make a stop. A few last minute things, and what do you know we ran into other family members there too. The hosts in fact, heehee. Hope your Christmas was great!
