50 Recipes That Call For Candy: Inspiration & Ideas For Leftover Candy

Hi my friends. Hope your week is off to a wonderful start. By now I am pretty sure many tummies have already been filled with a fair share of sweet treats. Although Halloween is just one night, the piles of candy collected can be pretty tempting and linger around for months.
With the holidays right around the corner, I thought I would share some recipes today that call for candy and could possibly help reduce your surplus. Since candy freezes well {up to a year} there is nothing wrong with pulling some treats out that pile and using them in moderation the next couple months to come. {For more freezing information check out the frozen candy bar test}
Keep in mind if you are ready to clean house and let all that extra candy go Operation Shoebox and Operation Gratitude are both accepting donations {that they re-distribute to the troops}. You can also check out the Halloween Candy Buy Back to see if there are any dentist in your area participating in the program.
