Creative Ideas for Displaying Your Home Address – DIY House Numbers – Tuesday {ten}

We had such amazing weather this past weekend - my husband could not wait to get started on one of many outdoor projects we have planned this year. The woodwork around out front door has been dying for some attention since we moved in so he anxiously began chipping away the layers of paint that have accumulated over the years. While the woodwork has turned into a much larger job than anticipated, I'm looking forward to all the fun updates and added curb appeal that's to come - stylish house numbers being one of them. So this week's Continue reading

10 Potting Bench Ideas with Free Building Plans – Tuesday {ten}

Each year as the planting season begins, I start to envision the potting bench I will someday be able to put to good use. A strong sturdy base, spacious top, and a dedicated home for all of the pots, tools and garden essentials. Thanks to a mild winter, my husband had a chance to get a jump start on building a storage shed on our property {above left} to house all of our garden and outdoor stuff. There are still a few finishing touches left on the list - though before he can even get the doors on, I'm gathering ideas for the potting bench I Continue reading

Super Easy Treats for My Simple Halloween Dessert Table – My Tuesday {ten} No.20

For this week's Tuesday {ten} I thought I would share some super simple ideas I used to put together this Halloween dessert table a couple of weeks ago. Since my little guy has been taken off of food it really has been a struggle for me to even think of any kind of tasty treat. The thrill I used to have putting together parties isn't quite the same, though food is such a social part of society, it is kind of hard hosting a gathering without incorporating it some how. So despite what it may seem, this table was incredibly easy to put together Continue reading

10 Inspiring Laundry Room Spaces – My Tuesday {Ten} No. 18

10 Inspiring Laundry Room Spaces – My Tuesday {Ten} No. 18

Last week our washer decided it was done. The front load set was purchased seven years ago, which I guess for appliances made now-a-days is pretty average - though I was hoping it would last at least a few more years. The entire washer tub actually cracked, which though fixable would cost a pretty penny to repair {ourselves} - so a new set in our very near future. Though we will not be purchasing the same brand, I am thinking it would be pretty cool to keep the dryer we have and have two to help assist with the never-ending laundry Continue reading
